Retrofitting measures in old buildings aimed at reducing energy usage have become important procedures meant to counteract the effects of climate change and greenhouse gas emissions. The aim this study is evaluate usage, thermal comfort, CO2 emissions an building by changing parameters such as orientation, shading systems, location, low film application, alternative supply form a geothermal heat pump. When evaluating terms geographical location with or without applying film, results show that city Gävle Sweden requires most heating energy, 150.3 kWh/m2∙year (B0) compared Jakarta (L0), which 23.8 kWh/m2∙year. examining cases B4 L4 demonstrate best their respective categories (B0–B4 are L0–L4 applied film). for levels B0–B4 indicate has highest value, 400 kg eq/year higher than B0, L1 lowest 731 lower B0. economic feasibility illustrates installation pump least coefficient performance 4.0 leads shorter payback period solely LEF.
